So months ago, I get a call from the Nassau County Executive,

Bruce Blatman, and he says, you know, I'm obviously running again for Nassau County Executive. He

won, said, but I'm considering running for governor. This is months ago. Like I told you guys

10 months in advance that Andrew Cuomo, for example, was running for mayor. I had it. I was right. So months ago, Bruce says I'm running for governor. Long story short, we had a couple of dinners, more conversations. He made it pretty clear to me that he was running. You know, with the press, he was very, very good about it. I want to win Nashville County executive Executive and, you know, I'm worried about that first.

But there was never a doubt on this show, at least, that Bruce was running for governor. So he announces it a couple of days ago. I'm on the train to Washington, D.C. to be sworn in by Ted Cruz at the Holocaust Memorial Museum Council. And I got a message from Bruce. He goes, Are you ready tomorrow morning for the big announcement?

I said, no, I'm not.
