Good morning, guys. Brian is not in Seattle. He is not. He did not watch much of the

home run derby. I watched a little bit of it, Brian. I don't get, you know, I'm 53. I used to

love it when I was 23 or younger, but I don't get into it as much. We kind of talked about it

at the start of the show. Too many home runs, Brian. I mean, they're going too fast. You can't even

see the home runs actually land in the stands anymore because they're the next guys,

can you throw in a pitch already? I mean, it's just getting out of hand, in my opinion.

I don't know. It's a spectacle. It's a winning thing. I don't know if it's bigger than the game now.

It's a little more fun than the game. And, you know, again, I kind of like the lessons of

the first half of this season. Remember, they reconfigured it. You know, it was kind of lagging.

They're like, ah, if only they did something. They did something. It got better. So that's kind

of my, that's kind of a theme of the season. Like, yeah, if only they did something. Well,

they did something. You know, we have pitch timers in that work. The home run derby works.

People are excited about it. It's spectacle. Are you okay with all of the rule changes?

All of them. Yes. And there's some I didn't like. I like shifts. I like intellectual

baseball. I like strategy all that. I will agree, though, that this is more aesthetically pleasing.

I like seeing a ground ball go for a base hit through the infield. I don't think it makes that much

of a difference. And I've adjusted to it already. It's fine. It's kind of like the automatic

walk, you know, the intentional walk. Just let them go. Like, do I like it? No, what I've put it in?

No. Does it work? Is it fine? Yeah. It really doesn't detract. And the main thing is, you know,

I don't want to bury the lead after I remind myself all the time, 25 minutes of dead time gone.

And it's transformed the game. I don't know how you guys, you know, I'm, I'm in your age bracket,
