yeah no problem thanks for having me happy to have you I think Bill and I as we watch all this and try

and break down what's going on with the Patriots and their quarterback depth chart and this juncture of

the season we're trying to divine all right what is the here? And what better way to operate than go to you and find out,

what should Jacoby Brissette's job be primarily and then in terms of mentoring Drake May?

Yeah, I think for me, having been in that role before,

the reason you signed Jacoby

Berset, you probably knew you were going to draft a quarterback third overall, but the reason

you signed Jacobi is because he's going to be your starter.

I think in his mindset is, I'm the starter.

I'm going to prepare to be the starter.

That's my main job.

But, you know, knowing Jacoby and his personality, it's also to kind of show

these young guys how to be pro quarterbacks. And that doesn't mean like throwing and footwork.

That means coming in the building every day, working hard, you know, showing him how to watch

film, how is he breaking down the film, how is he studying the playbook, things like that. And from

my perspective, obviously I was a rookie in learning from Tom.

And there's, you know, people assume that Jacobi should be in there just telling these guys,

like, hey, do this, do that.

No, those guys have to come in and have the awareness to say, I'm just going to watch a veteran

guy who's played a long time in the league, started a lot of games. I'm going to watch him every day and see how he interacts,
