What's up, ladies and gentlemen, welcome into Tom Caron's Patriots Talk Podcast.

We're bringing in our buddy Brian Hoyer today because you look at a win like Sundays and Brian has been on so many

teams in so many different situations. I think he's going to be great at articulating how we

should process it because I'm kind of big on tamping down these watershed moments where we

overblow the winds and we overblow the losses.

And I really look at this game and I say,

you don't want to get too giddy over this one.

You got giddy over the Bengals.

You get giddy over the Jets.

And last year you got giddy over a 25 to 22 win over the bills.

And really what they were, especially in the case of the bills,

that was dead cat bounce.

You've heard a dead cat bounce, I'm sure you have. No, I'm still trying to figure out that your sayings from last night on the postgame show,

but I'll learn it.

But this is a team, Brian, that's trying to still get a foothold.

And we don't know exactly what they are.

What can we take from yesterday's win? Is it a glimpse

of potential or is it just pummeling a bad team that's worse off than you are? Well, I think

you hit on it last night. You said, you know, sometimes the Patriots have kind of been that get

back on track team on other team schedules. And oddly enough, there are three wins. They've all been

underdogs.
