I mean, arguably as bad a program as there's been in college football forever to national championship winning team under Kurt Signetti. He was one of the great college coach performers now ever over the last

couple of years going from JF, JNU, taking them to the big boy level, and then to Indiana. But I wanted

to bring this up because of Fernando Mendoza. I find him so fascinating. He is like such a righteous,

you know, Goody Two-Shoo like Eddie Beaver Cleaver. A little bit of a nerd, yeah, a little bit of a nerd. Oh, it's a huge nerd, huge dork, but he's like the coolest nerd dork ever when he's like diving for touchdowns and making throws. Their offense is wild to me, though. It's like handoffs and back shoulder throws, like that's basically what they do, like all the r pos but i i guess my question is

really quickly on him at the beginning i i just said this guy can't go one one it's not a thing

before i'd seen him play a lot because i was like this guy's just a nerdy goofy college quarterback

the more i watch him though everything's accurate decisive he's athletic he's going to go first overall to the Raiders. What do you make of him? I don't remember a player like him at all in terms of, like, makeup, personality, you know, then you get him on the field and he's like a stone cold killer. Like, he's just a wild ride, man. He's a wild ride. You know, like, again, like the soft, soft comparison is like Kirk Cousins in terms of personality, a guy that's a little bit more buttoned up, but seems to find ways to relate to the team and the people around him. And again, I think, I think Mendoza's a little bit, even a notch up from Kirk, who, you know, like is, finds ways to kind of. He's like the big league version to Kirk's AA, you know, like, is, uh, is, he finds ways to kind of,

he's like the big league version to Kirk's double A, you know? Yeah, right. But, you know, this is what I will say, man, is I've played with some odd ducks, right? Like in my career, just guys that you're like, this dude is a weirdo. Like, whether they're, like, emotionally unregulated or whether they're, like, football nerdy. but if you can play football, like, no one cares, right?
