late on Tuesday, obviously the news broke that Brian Flores, the former coach of the Miami Dolphins, was suing the NFL because

he claims that basically the fix, he claims a lot of things, but he claims basically the fix he claims a lot of things but he claims basically the fix is in

and the hiring of minority coaches is in a totally untenable position And so you've probably read, heard a lot about this lawsuit and I'm

going to get to a couple of points here.

But I first want to remind you that we're also going to have

on the back end of this,

we're going to have Paul Burmister and I

discussing what happened in the championship games with a quick preview of Super Bowl 56.

And I'm also going to share a short conversation I had in the Plains Ohio on Tuesday with Jimmy

Burrow, the father of Joe Burrow at standing outside the restaurant that Joe Burrow

frequents when he goes home with his you know in the off season and when he spends time with his family.

So we're going to get to that. But first, some thoughts about Brian Flores.

I mean, first of all, I just want to read a statement from Brian Flores in the wake of filing

this lawsuit and he basically says that you, when he talks about this lawsuit, he basically says that I may be risking coaching the game that I love and that has done so much for my family and me.

My sincere hope is that by standing up against systemic racism in the NFL, others will

join me to ensure that positive change is made for generations to come.

And I think what we're seeing is a man who is willing to throw his career's chosen career away for the

greater good. Now we'll see what happens in the course of this in the course of discovery, in the course of I think what is going to likely be a trial at some point in the future.

As my partner on the, at NBC Sports, Mike Florio stated eloquently on his PFT show on Wednesday

morning that, you you know if it does not help Brian Flores his case

to go to arbitration which the NFL will want because that will keep everything secret. So my fervent hope is that
