Brian David Cook was a 37-year-old from Oceana, West Virginia.

He was a military vet and a father.

On July 26, 2011, Brian got picked up at his girlfriend's house

so he could buy a truck from his stepmother.

He allegedly got to this destination, but didn't buy the truck.

He was never seen again.

an octopus slipping through an opening that looks too small for its large head,

an octopus moving from one type of coral to another, changing colors multiple times to blend in with its surroundings.

And don't even get me started regarding that story from last year

that said Octopi might be from another planet.

Why am I talking about this one-of-a-kind invertebrate?

Well, almost 30 years ago, there was an alleged conspiracy

that was centered in West Virginia, where unfound is today.

And the reporter who had been following the leads in that conspiracy had called it,

yes, you guessed it, the octopus. Because of all the arms or tentacles, his investigation had allegedly uncovered.
