| 0:41.0 | the case to the Carter administration that by launching this big covert operation against the |
| 0:47.0 | socialist government in Afghanistan following the April 1978 revolution, that it would draw the |
| 0:53.0 | Soviet Union in, and then the Soviet Union would have |
| 0:56.4 | its own version of Vietnam. And that was, you know, that's quite famous. Everybody has heard that. |
| 1:02.2 | But now what we're witnessing is Afghanistan becoming the second Vietnam for the United States. |
| 1:08.2 | I mean, here you have this complete chaos at the airport, the government |
| 1:14.0 | that the U.S. was supporting collapsed without shots really being fired at the gates of Kabul. |
| 1:19.6 | I mean, a real defeat for the United States after 20 years. So we have to pay attention to it |
