Hello, welcome to the all-out politics podcast here on Sky News. I'm Adam Bolton. And joining

me this week are the Professor of European

Politics and Foreign Affairs at King's College London. He's also director of the UK in a changing

Europe initiative, that is Anand Menon, whose group have been charting Brexit and public opinion

for several years now. The Financial Times, political correspondent Laura Hughes, is with us,

as is Sky News political reporter Rob Powell and, of course, the head of Sky Data, Harry Carr.

Developments this week of a sort, Mrs May got Parliament to actually back something which she was proposing,

suggestion that she go back to Europe and renegotiate the Irish backstop.

But this was met with a chorus of disapproval from the European Union's high-ups.

The only point I want to make is to confirm that the EU institution remain united.

And we stand by the agreement we have negotiated with the UK, never against the UK.

I hope that they will decide or that they will discuss content and that is not only eating biscuits and drinking

tea this afternoon. Because it could be the solution for this problem if they start to working
