It was another big and exciting week for Brexit where everything and nothing happened.

After months upon months of indecision and uncertainty,

Theresa May's government decided that Brexit means, quote, managed divergence.

In other words, the UK will ask the EU to allow some

convergence in rules and regulations in a future trade deal as well as the

ability to change things. It's a gentle compromise to hold the Conservative Party together,

but will it fly in Brussels? George Park, let's begin with Checkers. So this host summit

was very much talked up by the Conservative Party as the moment of decision,

the moment at which Theresa was going to find that end state once Britain has left the
