Hello, friends. Hello. And welcome to the next of our Brett Con panels, the second

actors panel. This one features Jack Klaff, Vernon Dobbchief, and Joanna David. I know we've

been away a while, and everyone is eagerly awaiting the disappearance of Lady Francis Carfax, us included. But we've just been missing the podcast and wanted to hop on the mic for a few minutes just to check in and let everyone know we're doing okay and hope you're doing okay out there in podcast land.

We're all still here and we're kind of back, sort of.

Sure. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And we are working on it.

I mean, most of you probably know we're still deep in the weeds of our film, The Vast, Lonesome. So, I mean, we are working on Lady Francis Carfax, but I don't know, just wanted to hop on and let everybody know we're still alive. And hopefully we'll be able to do a little segment like this for the rest of these panels

as we kind of finish working on the Carfax

episode. I thought we could kind of just start rolling out these Brettcon panels and, you know, do a little bit of new, sneak in some emails or something or discuss the panel. But rather than just sort of plop them out, I thought we'd just say hello and check in briefly. And it's probably worth mentioning, too, that, you know, we'll be doing these intros here on the podcast, but the actual full video of these panels is also going to be available on YouTube. So if you want to watch along, uh, you can check that out over there. Our intros won't be on there, but the, the panel video will be. So, um. Yeah, that's worth saying because, because we have an audio podcast and we have the YouTube channel and we have the Patreon page and we have the Patreon RSS feed, it's kind of hard to keep everything straight. But basically, all of these videos are on Patreon right now. So you can go watch them right now. Um, or we'll be rolling them out onto our YouTube channel with

these little intros on our audio podcast but then you can skip over to YouTube if you want to

watch along see people's faces as they talk and I have been kind of adding in photos and videos

of little snips of things and when they're talking so you get a little bit more context if you

like that kind of thing so keep an eye eye out. All the links will be in

the show notes. Right. Or on our social media. Yeah. And I got to say, I mean, you've been editing

these. So frankly, I hadn't really listened back to this one since Brett Conn itself. And like until

today. And it really is a fun panel. I mean, I actually really enjoyed listening

back to it. It was kind of like someone else had done the interviews. That's how I feel. When I watched it back, I felt the same way. I kind of felt like, man, we really dropped the ball on some of these. But then I watched it back. I was like, that's pretty good. But I don't think we get any credit, I think it's, I think the three of them, I mean, it's funny because a question

I don't think we ever asked is how well did they know each other, those three actors that we had on the panel, like how well did they, you know, know each? I'm sure I got the feeling they all kind of knew each other from the scene over the years, but they just kind of felt like old friends on that stage. and I mean if you haven't heard it before you'll hear it momentarily but but it's just my goodness the their camaraderie and the the way they just banter back and forth it's so fun it's so funny i mean it's it's it's and a lot of them are like i mean obviously actors are actors i mean kind of the same thing with the hound panel which will be coming soon and if you've already heard the the adventures actors panel, it's very similar. But man, I mean, they're just, they're just such fun people.

It's like, you want to hang out with them. You just want to, you know, go out for a beer. Yeah. Well, no, that's the point, though. That's what was interesting about this. I mean, it's kind of nice to see that our little wager paid off on doing this event. And, you know, I was going to share

that we've received a lot of really lovely comments from folks who've watched the previous panels or from folks on Patreon, um, who've watched all of them and just kind of this echoing the same thing you're saying where it's just like, it's just so fun to watch these people talk and just, it's just like you're just sitting in the room and having a little conversation and it's just it's

lovely yeah yeah well and i mean we mentioned lady francis i mean this panel actually features jack

claff who played the honorable philip green in that episode and you know this this was the second

time we had spoken to jack actually he was one of our very first interviews, if I recall correctly.
