Today, we look back to September 20th,

2021. We're going to play a portion of the conversation. We had a very fun conversation with

Major League Baseball outfielder Brett Phillips. If you remember in 2020, that World Series,

that really weird season with COVID, it was a shortened

season, Tampa Bay made it all the way to the World Series before losing to the Los Angeles

Dodgers.

But it was in game four of that World Series on the biggest stage when Brett Phillips became a baseball

hero.

He was at bat in the bottom of the ninth inning with two runners on and his team down by one run.

He lined a single to right field.

Both runners would ultimately score on the hit and it gave the raise a World Series victory in game four, eight to seven.

The Dodgers, of course, went on to win that series

in six games, but Brett Phillips became a World Series hero. Brett Phillips is a fun dude. And when I

mean fun, I mean really fun. In fact, that's his moniker. Baseball is fun. And Brett Phillips came on the podcast to talk about living life as a follower of Christ

and having fun in the game of baseball.
