I mean, who cares really about Bible trivia?

I'm talking about this grammar to be able to see, construct, understand, perceive, and negotiate one's life in the world.

When they think about the problem of immigration, do they think, first and foremost, as as Christians of texts in the Bible that have

to do with immigration? That's what I think they should be doing, not recapitulating what their

favorite pundit or political party says, but rather wrestling with what it means for Ruth to

be a moabite, widow, immigrant, or what does it mean to Leviticus to care for the immigrant and provide food for them

and love them like you love yourself.

This is Matt Lynch, based here in the UK, sitting down in a place

called Ashburnham in East Sussex. Oh man, it's so beautiful here. It's like a, so the place

where I work is called Westminster Theological Center. And we have hubs all around the country

in the UK. And one of the hubs is down a place called Ashburn in place in East Sussex.

And it is gorgeous down here right now.

It was a sunny day and we were talking about the book of Job.

Not that those two things are related at all. In fact, probably not. But the Ashburnum Place has, it's like a farm and a huge old estate, beautiful grounds, but they've converted it not just into a big conference center, but sustainable farming and all these

interesting things. So I was just out with the sheep and the pheasants and I'm feeling very

connected to nature. So I just thought I'd share that with you. In this episode, we've got Brent

Strawn and man, I just loved talking with him. And Brent is someone who means a lot to me, and I really respect his work, and him as a person.
