there! Oh, hey there. How's it going? Welcome to another edition of Lead Singer Syndrome. My name is Shane Told. I am a lead singer myself in a band called Silverstein and on this

podcast I interview other lead singers about what it's like to front a band. And this is actually episode 44 if you can

believe it so maybe I don't know do I have to say that every episode tell you

what the podcast is about is that just a waste of time I don't know but I feel like it's a good way to start so that's that's where I'm going to start again on this episode we have a great show this week I talked to my old friend, dear friend, Brendan Murphy of

counterparts. They are a hardcore band, melodic hardcore band. I don't know what they call this music anymore.

It doesn't matter.

They're awesome.

I'm sure most of you people know what's going on with counterparts.

They are one of the up and coming bands I think in the scene right now.

We talk a lot about that. They've been a band for 10 years.

I was shocked when you told me that. That's crazy. He's only 25.

But they got a lot of big stuff coming up right now.

They're going on tour with Parkway Drive, which is massive for them.

You know, and we talk a lot about how they came up kind of being underdogs in the scene a little bit and I get his

take on that. There's a lot of music industry talk in this episode so I hope that's interesting
