Brendan Leipzig has made a lot of new fans the way he's played in his first year with

the Caps, especially after what he did in that Anaheim game when he just steamrolled every Ducks player

he could find. So today, Michael Jenkins and I actually sit down with the newly dubbed little ball

of hate of the cap. So here's our discussion as the Capitalist Talk podcast starts now.

It's me and Michael Jenkins sitting down with Brendan Leipzig, who's a great story

because here's a guy who really wasn't promised anything, not even a role on this team. He was

brought in the camp as sort of, I don't want to say afterthought, but after a couple of moves in the

offseason, trading for Goudis, bringing in Richard Panic. It was, oh yeah, they also signed

Brendan Leipzig. He'll be a

dept guy. Perhaps he'll make the team. We don't really know. To his credit, he has worked hard.

He has earned a spot, a regular spot on the fourth line, and even has gotten bumped up.

Ask Todd Reardon about his play. Because Todd Reardon's a guy who has a plan. There's always a

plan for everything now
