January 28th. You know, he only ever saw us once. He, uh, I mean, he was proud of me because he,

I mean, he said so. He's, he's very affectionate, but he only, he had polio, so he didn't get around very well. He walked with crutches his whole life.

And he only came out to see us once when we were up in Seattle.

And we were playing in this big theater.

And there's, the place is going nuts.

I mean, he is like tackling people off the stage.

in 91 or something. It was really like sort of the pinnacle of the craziness. And my dad, I'm like

playing, you know, playing drums and I look over to my left. I see my dad coming through the

stage door because he couldn't come through the crowd obviously but they let him on the stage

and he saw me and he walked across this like on stage and then stood right next to me right

to the left of me and like was like standing there with his crutches he had this like arm brace

crutches and he's looking around and he's kind of looked like a silverback ape he was all bent over

and like kind of crazy and crotchety-looking.

He's looking over the crowd.

He makes it through about a song, song and a half.

And then he gives me a big knock on my arm.

And he goes, all right, me and your mom are going home.
