Hunting is not only something that provides a challenge and sustains life for many of us, as it has for countless generations.  But it also provides unique and powerful opportunities to build bonds between those with whom we share these experiences.  Last week, I had the opportunity to share such an experience with my son, Brecken, as we set out on a moose hunt in the wilderness of northern Maine.

 

On today's episode, Brecken and I share the story of how we harvested a beautiful bull moose in an epic hunt, filled with disappointments, missed shots, but ultimately success…and how the greatest success of all had nothing to do with hunting.
