In the New Testament, the word Numa is the Greek word for the breath of God.

It means Spirit.

And God breathed on me and said, receive the Holy Spirit.

And it breathes out all Scripture.

He gives me life and breath and everything.

To begin your meditation in breathing in the very breath of God, I want you to find a place

to be comfortable, alone, quiet, and still.

We will be together for about 15 minutes.

For now, let me pray a blessing over you that the Holy Father breathes into you.

That the Numa, the Holy Spirit, fills and abides within you.

That the Holy Son gives you life and breath and everything.

May you have faith that God supply you with the fullness of life and power that comes from

him in this very moment.

So encounter him now by your breathing and may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with

you.

Amen.

So take this moment to settle deep into wherever you are and prepare yourself to encounter

God as you breathe.

Just sit comfortably now.

Begin to relax your eyes into a soft gaze.

Come aware of the Holy Father, the Spirit, and the Son present in and around you.
