the good news. The word this week is breathe. And 90% of the time we don't even think about breathing.

It's such an involuntary action, and our bodies just naturally do it.

But do you ever notice sometimes that your breath is cut a little short?

I know this happens to me a lot, especially living in New York City, and especially on days that test the durability of my ribcage.

Deep breaths are hard to come by these days.

And a breath is the foundation for a lot of things in life.

Various religions, spiritual practices.

You've probably even heard your trainer remind you to breathe if you're lifting heavy weights.

Or for those of you yogis out there during a yoga class,

you'll hear the instructor constantly remind you

to breathe in order to center yourself. Without breath, we're dead. I know that's really obvious to say,

but I'm trying to position this from a metaphorical stance as well. In scripture, breath is

powerfully riddled throughout the New and Old Testament, starting from Genesis chapter 2 verse 7,

where it says, then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breath
