Today could have gone differently much differently in terms

of tone in terms of just me being in it or not in it uh i am in it today coolly tom and van pelt

that's the intended lineup today we'll see if it comes to fruition. The smell test awful yesterday. My apologies,

one and four. I've got another one today, and I'll get to that later on in the show.

My prediction that the Big East would do well in this tournament, not correct. I did get the

Big Ten right, however. Thought they would have a decent tournament. Five and O yesterday.

One of the five winners, of course, was Maryland.

They won a postseason game for the first time in three years.

That's not an exaggeration, the first time in three years.

So when I hear, as I've been more constructively

critical in recent weeks about Maryland, recent months, than I've ever been, and I hear

back from various people saying, man, you're getting tough on them, I can answer with facts.

And one of the facts is they won their first postseason

game yesterday for the first time in three years. And let's be honest, no matter what your

opinion is of Mark Turgeon, if you think he's doing a good job or not, yesterday, there isn't

one Maryland fan that I know of Aaron that didn't

think he needed it. Needed it badly. Needed it for what is a different conversation. His job,

probably not, for a lot of reasons, like money. Needed it to keep the wolves in the fan base, the crazies in the

fan base that don't feel that his job should be secure? Absolutely. He had to have it for that.
