I'm Ryan Warmly, joined by Chris Welsh and Lance Brozdowski to talk some breakout pitchers.

Few people that I trust more when talking about this position. So, of course, we had to head Lance on for this segment. Thanks for hopping on, buddy. What's up? What's going on, guys? How are you? Braz. Lance is a great get. I want to give a plug. Also, everybody should be following Lance Prasowski on his YouTube. Lance, you have done just such a killer job of curating, like, really great fun ways to consume so many, like, analytical things that can burn people's brains out.

I attempt when we talk about shows to, like, try all those, like, dumb down conversations sometimes because sometimes it just burns people's brains.

But you have been an industry go-to for industry people i have done it myself as well as a bunch of

consumers so there's really almost nobody better we could have on here so i just wanted to say

You're like, who is this? Sorry, sorry, sorry. I love having Lance on. Lance did this with us last year. We had a, and I just want to point out, you want to go back. We don't want to ever do the whole like, uh, victory laps or anything like that. No, I want to do this because I forgot who I picked. Well, no, we had this great Roki conversation where Roki at the time was like, everyone's like, I'm going to get Roki. Roki was like the version of Nolan McLean this year, which I hope I'm not putting a bad juju on. But like you and I, we had this long discussion on that, kind of bringing down the expectations of Roki Zazaki and that was really good thing. That was a good thing that we had kind of tempered those expectations, which, ironically, kind of still is lingering here on what's going to happen. But it was a really great episode, and I'm excited to get into these. I've got two guys. I don't even know why I'm talking here. Lance has got a couple, but I'm a little a little tease here. Worm. Lance has got one. I actually think you should go to me first to get one of mine out of the way because Lance has got an absolutely absurd name on here that I'm so excited to hear. I'm so excited to hear it. Okay. Well, let's, well, we'll follow your lead here. Well, I should go to you first. Yeah, let's get this one out of the way.

Well, more than anything, let's get Lance's take on this because he's already been talked about in this episode. Breakout is probably very loose at this point because he's becoming a big target. But Emmett Sheehan, Emmett Sheehan is definitely one of my guys. The breakout started last year. I think the continuation is, um is um is eminent and one of the biggest

things in using him as a breakout is that i think he could end up being the most valuable

pitcher not named yamamoto i i think we're in a realm of possibility it's tough to say with

if otony if otonani got the full run here.

But he had a 282 ERA this past year, sub one whip, 30% K percentage, 7% walk rate, which you love to see.

Expected ERA was right in there. Whiff rates on the slider looked phenomenal, big three pitch mix.

And he's the guy that's not in I think in any real big competition so

we've already talked about him on the fest I don't want to go too nuts with it but he's like

become a must draft player for me and the breakout side of this is like I said it's him no longer

being the he's after Snell he's after Glass now now is already going to be limited with

innings Glassnell is kind of perpetually I just think there's a realm of possibility where Emmett Sheehan is the more trustworthy option. Think of it like this. Emmett Sheehan could be to what Brian Wu was with the Mariners last year. Brian Wu was like the fourth-ish starting pitcher that was taken and then he's kind of vaulted up into kind of being
