The jazz with the number two pick, and the big story has to be that the four, the six is set.

It's Lowry Markinen.

It's Jaron Jackson.

It's Walker Kessler, and it's the number two pick of the draft, and the jazz have six fabulous pieces by which to build with, start to make their run.

You have two pieces that are going to be on rookie contracts that could be elite level talent in the role of Ace Bailey and whoever the jazz take with the number

two pick. This is a major moment for this franchise. It is the culmination of the rebuild. It is

playing the lottery odds four different times and finally having it go our way. I know there's a level

of BYU fans with a heartbreak that it's not number one,

and it's probably not a J. DeBanza, because it's hard to imagine a team that drafted

Trey Johnson last year is not going to take A.J. DeBonson, unless they really believe

Darren Peterson, Cameron Boozer or Caleb Wilson is that much better.

It does feel it lines up like there's no explanation of why the Wizards wouldn't be

going with AJ DeMontza as the number one pick.

But obviously, time will tell.

There'll be a lot of smoke screens between now and late June when on that Tuesday, when

we find out whether or not AJ DeJ. Abanza goes number one.
