And I quote, we barely dodged the Hershel Walker bullet and then another, the suppression

of Hunter Biden's laptop is a huge deal.

But wait, there's more.

How about the one that says, avoid Harry and Megan's Netflix, Yona?

I mean, seriously, what?

Is this who we are anymore?

Is the spectacle of Trumpism also turned us into trike gossip mongers who need our news

spoon fed to us with a very unhealthy dose of salacious entertainment?

And come on folks, for God's sake.

Then there's Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys who's been accused of raping a woman in

2001 and now their holiday special has been canceled.

We can't have nice things because humans have a habit of behaving very badly.

But in a week full of strange and horrible news, there was this.

Brittany Griner is on her way back to the US after a prisoner swap that, you know, the Biden

administration has been negotiating for all this time since she was arrested in Russia

for having some hash in a vape pen.

And then she's been held since then and we've been saying this all year.

She's been a political prisoner.
