The January 6th Committee finds itself racing against the ticking clock.

Investigators widening their net to ensnare Trump's most dangerous allies.

A criss-crossing network of lunatics and far-right, conspiracy mongers bent on overturning

the election for their Emperor King.

The Committee's attention has now turned to the so-called Command Center, set up inside

the Willard Hotel across the street from the White House.

One unfolded there in the hours before the Capitol riot has become a prime focus of the

Committee as the panel intensifies its scrutiny into whether there was any coordination or

tie between those pushing illegal strategy to overturn the election results and those

who storm the Capitol that day as Congress met to count the electoral votes to formalize

President Biden's victory.

Trump's subpoenas and this latest batch focus on the reported use of the Willard Hotel

near the White House as a so-called Command Center for staging the effort to keep Trump

in power.

It's in the Woodward and Costa Book called peril.

This week, the Committee issued subpoenas to several of Trump's advisors who gathered

there, including General Michael Flynn, John Eastman and Bernard Kerrick and Communications

with Rudy Giuliani and Roger Stone among the material investigators have demanded from

the former President, who is now stonewalling the inquiry despite suffering a bruising loss

in the courts over his right to assert a decade of privilege and with whole key documents

from the January 6th Committee.
