We called them apathetic. We said they couldn't put down their

phones. We said they only cared about themselves. It turns out that the Tik-Tok generation that cared about nothing suddenly cares about too much as college

protests peak with intensity across college campuses nationwide.

Across the nation and around the clock.

From California to Michigan and along the East Coast college campuses

erupting in protest. Pro-Palestinian demonstrators demanding action refusing to back down.

And with these protests, we're suddenly faced with a widening generation gap that exposes

massive differences on attitudes towards Israel and the treatment of

Palestinians. Young Americans are overwhelmingly unhappy with the

White House's handling of Israel's military campaign in Gaza.

This is indisputable and has been true for months.

A CNN poll released on Sunday found that a staggering 81% of voters under the age of 35

disapprove of President Biden's handling of the war.

The lowest issue rating Biden has received in a troubling poll. The nationwide protests highlight

what could be a historic moment as young progressive Americans embrace the

Palestinian cause as never before, conjuring political pressures that could challenge long

established bipartisan support for Israel.

Yet they've also added to a seam of anti-Semitism in US society that has traumatized many American Jews who feel
