I wish I didn't know what I now know.

That women earn less than men the longer they are in the workforce, but the problem just grows and grows.

I wish I didn't know that a woman, Claudia Golden, won the Nobel Prize for proving all of this

in her research, and that she calls it the dirty truth. A male friend

might leave university at the same time as his female friend but she's going to

end up earning less and less than him over time. There is a gap between young women's expectations

and what is actually likely to happen to them. So we dream and we convince

ourselves that if we work hard everything will be okay in the end but it's a lie a big fat lie and to make

me feel better about this I'm supposed to do hot yoga apparently or a face mask or go cold water swimming. As well as investigating the dirty
