Good morning everyone and welcome back to the Messy masterpiece podcast which had a

Tory. I think Tory's feeling slightly better. I am. I feel like my voice is almost back.

What percentage back are you right now? Honestly, y'all, it's just been like in my head

today and like coffee, but I feel fine. It's just my voice doesn't sound fine. Praise God

because we need you to read those devotionals. They've you've been doing a great job. Speaking

of, do you want to read it? Yeah, let's do it. You guys, today we're in Romans 3 verse 28 and

it's titled walk in faith. It says, so we are made right with God through faith and not

by obeying the law. The love that are from God says, beloved child, my love for you is not defined

by laws. I gave you my laws, including the 10 commandments because I love you, but I continue

to love you even if you fail to keep them. The laws that I make are to protect you and to show

you how to live as my chosen child, not to put you in the chains of a guilt driven religion.

When you live under fear of the law, you miss out on experiencing my grace and mercy. I am a

tender, loving father who knows how to care for your fragile heart. I know your every strength

and your every weakness and I still love you. Have faith in me and I will do the rest. Love

your heavenly father. The reflection says, God gave us his laws as a gift to show us how to live

as his children. However, he never intended for us to put those laws above our faith and love for

him. If we pride ourselves on obeying the law and forget about love, grace and mercy, we lose

out on knowing God as our loving father. All we are left with is a religion instituted by people,

not God. The treasure of truth says, a law without love has never been God's plan.

Yeah, I think something that's really important that we all need to do is to see the benefit of

God's laws. This is such a random analogy. But yesterday morning, whenever I woke up, this is
