Two constituencies are in the spotlight for today's red lines and they're both packed with puzzles and possibilities. Foyle and East London Derry. And even if it turns out there's no wholesale change in either, they're potentially revealing of the battles within nationalism and unionism and they could also have a bearing on the tussle for the overall top spot between the DUP and Sinn Féin.

And this could well prove to be a key battleground for Sinn Féin, the SDLP and the DUP on May the 5th.

Yes, it has the fifth most marginal seat in Northern Ireland. Gary Middleton held his seat, the current junior minister, by just over 700 votes. So it is absolutely critical

to both Sinn Féin and the SDLP as well. Of course, the SDLP pulled a bumper result

at the last general election. Colomis, which took 57% of the vote. His majority actually

was bigger than John Hume's biggest success.

Believe or not, his majority stands around 17,000 votes.

Significantly last time, there was a lot of change as well

because the Sinn Féin outpolled the SDLP for the first time at assembly level.

Sinn Féin took 36.6% of the vote to the SDLP 31.8.

So the SDLP are running more candidates there this time.

They ran two last time, so they've got two incumbent MLAs, Mark H. Durkin,

figures, the SDLP are sitting on just under two quotas. Okay. So to get the third seat,
