Well, as the Sixers get ready to end their preseason basketball tonight, we got treated to some unexpected news here earlier this morning.

Orthopedics, I am Derek joined by Kyle on an emergency pod as Harris and Blitzer Sports

and Entertainment, the group that owns the Sixers, has hired Bob Myers to be the president

of sports.

Bob Myers, obviously the longtime of sports. Bob Myers,

obviously the longtime general manager of the Golden State Warriors.

Previous before that was an agent, a basketball agent.

Most recently has been at ESPN as an analyst,

leaving that job to be the president of sports for Harris and Blitzer of Sports

and Entertainment.

Hey, you know, Kyle.

I'm doing well.

You know, I hate that this is what the Sixers have done to me.

But the first thing I thought when I saw this news and that Bob Myers is being brought on board was,

oh, they're going to use this to bury that they're not

actually playing Joel and dude at this final preseason game, right?

That this is a big enough story that they'll somehow sweep it under the rug like, oh, yeah,

nothing to see here.

Actually, he's not on schedule, but that I'm just messing around, obviously.

But it is big news.

Because there's going to be a lot of reactions from Sixers fans, you know. And look, a fan base that went through the whole Jerry Colangelo era. I think a lot of people are going to connect that thoughts. And we'll get into whether or not that's fair and whether or not that's what's going on here.
