We have some major developments hours after Donald Trump gave the longest state of the union address in American history, beating the previous mark of an hour and 41 minutes.

Well, while Donald Trump was giving his speech and shortly thereafter, Democrats once again substantially overperformed in key special elections across America and Pennsylvania and in Maine, securing once again the

majority in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and expanding their majority in the Maine

House of Representatives and yet another rebuke to the Republican Party, especially as the president

was giving his address, while Mike Johnson now is sending an urgent warning to Republicans across America,

quote, if you don't reelect us to the House of Representatives, Donald Trump's presidency will

In Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Democrats are projected to win two special elections for state

House, keeping their majority intact.

Democrats Anna Tibericio and Jennifer Mazoko won their Tuesday night elections to represent

Pennsylvania House Districts 22 in Lehigh County and 42 in Allegheny County, respectively.

The seats were vacated after former state representative Josh Siegel was elected as Lehigh County

Executive and ex-state Representative Dan Miller won a spot on the Allegheny countercourt of common pleas.

Democrats were expected to keep both blue-leaning steeds, but actually over-performed.

The party risked a tie 100-100-state House if they came up short, which would have complicated

Josh Shapiro's ability to pass his legislative priorities in the Keystone State, given their

victories. However, Democrats now have retained a 102 to 98 edge in the state's lower chamber.

In Maine, meanwhile, Democrats Scott Harriman defeated Republican Janet Baydon.
