fortune of being able to actually host the draft.

So how is it in Pittsburgh? I just feel like the energy is just probably off the chain in the city.

It really is. I'm here in the strip district of Pittsburgh at Aslin Brewing Company. We've been doing a live

show for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette that's been bopping. We've been giving away prizes.

People have been coming up and saying hi. The North Shore is going insane. Pittsburgh is loving the draft and the experience

right now. I can't wait to see it tomorrow too with day two and more time during the day to explore.

Indeed. Now Pittsburgh, the city may be loving the draft, but does Pittsburgh the fan base and

does our locked on host for Steelers love the pick of Max Ahanachore, 21? I think Max Ahanature has a very high ceiling at the offensive tackle position. I think he's a very good athlete. I think he has great footwork and a lot of high potential to work to, but I think he's a very raw prospect. But I think what's the bigger story about this pick is the player the Steelers didn't get.

It was Mackay Lemon, who they had every intention of taking with the 21st overall pick

until the Eagles traded up to 20th overall.

Per Adam Schaefter, he said the Steelers were literally on the phone talking to Mackay Lemon

when the Eagles traded ahead of them

with their division rival, the Cowboys, to get the pick ahead of them and take Lemon because

they knew the Steelers wanted him. Lemon was the last player that I had a first round grade
