Oregon and Washington are going to be invited to the big 10.

They're going to accept that invite.

This follows what I can only describe as a whirlwind over the last 12 hours or so.

So just to paint the picture for folks out there who are watching this live as we're out on YouTube

who are listening in their cars and the way home from work, the last 12 hours have been kind of

crazy. There was a meeting last night with the Arizona Board of Regents.

There was also a board meeting that went deep into the night on the Washington side.

We all sort of went to bed thinking that this was inevitable that the pack 12 was going to end

up breaking up. We woke up this morning and suddenly many of the reporters that we know and

love and have on our show from time to time are reporting something quite to the contrary.

There is renewed optimism among those in the pack 12 that perhaps they could meet and among

the remaining nine teams they could sign seal and deliver this grant of right steel.

To reiterate the grant of rights deal that we talk about here, the TV deal with respect to

the pack 12 was largely streaming. It was a deal through Apple. It would pay somewhere in the

vicinity of 20 to 25 million dollars. We never got that official number. There'd be incentives

and escalators to make it higher, but that was the deal. It seemed as if everyone was honky

Dory with that this morning and then suddenly it began to fall apart again. Suddenly we start

seeing reports about Washington having concerns about the Apple deal. Suddenly we start seeing
