Hello, we're doing a breaking episode of newscast to cover the global IT

outage which has been caused by an update to some security software and which has affected computers

running Windows.

So Microsoft's operating system and it turns out that's a lot of computers in a lot of sectors for transport, health care, banking, you

name it. But it's always interesting with these big stories, the things that just sort of really

lodged in your mind because they seem really close to home.

For me it was seeing our friends at Sky News basically not having any working computers or

graphics and just having to do the news old style with their notebooks out in front of them. Here's how it sounded.
