Thank you so much for joining me here as we are going to be discussing the Packers' newest defensive coordinator, Jonathan Gannon.

An interesting hire, one that we obviously talked about in the

breakdown of, to be fair, I did list 23 defensive coordinator. So I was pretty likely to hit on one

of them. But he was on our list of candidates that I thought Green Bay would consider. We knew as

of late that he spent two days interviewing with Green Bay. Of course, yesterday we heard that there was mutual interest between the Green Bay Packers

and Jim Leonard.

That apparently was not super mutual, or at least the interest was not to the level of

waiting until Jim Leonard was available next week.

There's some reporting out there that Jonathan Gannon had interest elsewhere.

And if Green Bay wanted to make sure they didn't lose them, that they needed to make an

aggressive decision to probably sign him today and make sure that he was going to, you know,

be a member of the Green Bay Packers, how ultimately true that is, how, you know, desired and

wanted he was.

It's always tough to say to some extent.
