Hello and welcome to this breaking news episode of what most people think.

And I should say first up,

that this is my second attempt recording this because I did the first 10 minutes of the previous one, but also I had one eye on the ashes, and it made me depressed, and it was distracting. And I listened back to it, and it was absolute dog shit. So I've started again, and I think politically, sort of setting aside the disappointment of the ashes, it's one

those interesting weeks because there's a lot of stories to mop up.

There is, of course, the back end to the budget fallout, the OBI guy quitting and peering

in front of the committee.

There was also PMQs where Kemi had a chance to speak about the events of the previous

seven days.

But there was also interesting stuff with David Lammy's proposal to cut jury trials.

I had missed a nickname Calamity Lammy somehow.

It's a good nickname.

There's something vaguely comical about David Lammy whenever he talks.

I think it's partly that he's quite often saying the opposite of what he once said,

where to the point where his life is like a weird parlour game,

where he's arguing against his historical self.

We've also got Wes Street in talking about the level of diagnosis of ADHD and mental health

and setting up this inquiry.

But there was this big story with reform, a couple of stories this week.

They've got this huge donation, but also Farage, who's sort of been questioned a lot about

these historical accusations of racism from when he was a schoolboy, decided to go back the

other way and talk about the BBC and the programs they put on in the past.
