And this is the bombshell of all bombshells. Liverpool and Arna Slot, part of ways.

Liverpool are on a hunter for a new manager. We'd be talking about that in a moment in terms of possible replacement.

But just the initial reaction of course after two seasons

honest lot is no longer in charge at liverpool obviously the first season and with the premier

league title win um dreamland for us that season just gone lippool scraping champions league

football in a fifth position obviously the reviews have happened and it's been decided that a

change is needed um i'll be honest, completely shocked, completely shocked.

I mean I've advocated that I think Liverpool needed the new manager and I think a lot of people who watch and listen to Redmond content were kind of along with that one.

Not everybody, of course.

But my expectation was that it wasn't going to happen.

Obviously there was rumours and reports

that Liverpool were in talks to bring on a slot to assistant manager in but obviously that

whatever's happened in these talks it hasn't gone well obviously for whatever and listen when you

lose as many football games as Liverpool did last season there was clear unrest it felt like within

the camp so while I'm surprised

that it's happened now, I think it is kind of justified based upon what we've seen on. I do feel

sorry for an honest spot, like I say, in terms of certain things that obviously went against them,

certain things that he was obviously culpable for as well. But just the initial reaction straightway is absolute surprise and shock.

That Liverpool made the decision now.

Liverpool tend to air on the side of caution with these things and maybe give people another chance.

And obviously after one good year, one bad year, maybe the third time I was going to see what you're up.
