Hello, I know this breaking news episode. Now, I know I said that this week was probably

going to be the week that I did the Patreon-only episode, but I'm going to move that to next week

because there was just a hell of a lot going on this week. And after the Labor, hashtag psychodrama,

you've always got to call it psychodrama, never just drama, the sort of snow globe of the leadership change calmed down a bit. But then,

you know, stuff is happening. We had the first PMQs back after all this has happened. And,

you know, it does seem that Keir Starmer, Keir has found a new gear. It's funny, isn't it? Suddenly,

they're going to fuck him off. And he's announcing policies left, right and center. What was

there? There was a little payment holiday for hauliers. There was something else about red diesel for farmers? They're pumping out policy left, right and center. And, you know, on that note, Keir Stahmer at the first PMQ's back, as I say, after the leadership challenge.

Not even a challenge yet. I'll say one thing about the Tories, right? If they're going to get rid of a leader, they go bangs, one between the eyes. There you go. Right there, Fred. Right? And then Harvey Kirtel shows up and gets rid of the body. This late, they always accused the Tories of psychodrama.

What could be more psychodrama than a guy who has been challenged but hasn't, but got to stay in power while other people pitch for his job around him. It is messed up, man. It's messed up. And on that note, you know, the first PMQ's back, there were questions, you know, while West Streeting was off briefing about the EU. Kemi Baysenock, tricky one for her, you know.

There were semi-positive, well, there was positive news on inflation, not good news on employment.

There was a poll, a shock pole. They were all shock polls. Otherwise, we wouldn't mention them, would we? About the effect that Andy Burnham would have on Labour polling. Robert Jenrick getting a drive-by gag off a lib dem of all people. So there's a lot to get to. So we're going to do that this week. And as I say, next week will be the patron only. Personally, I had a slightly lighter week this week. I haven't had to go anywhere. That's a big part of my job is I have to get up. I have to go London. I have to drive to gigs. I love doing the work, but I'm always having to go somewhere. And I've had a bit of routine. I've had a bit of routine. And I'm probably not

expending my brain with the driving and the travel and therefore I'm waking up earlier. And

I just can't get back to sleep like 6.37. I'm quite a good sleeper, weirdly. You know,

I just can't do the big shifts anymore. And is that life now for me as I hit 50 later this year?

Am I turning into that that person that not only can't sleep that I'll be just going in there?

I have noticed actually I've started pulling the duvet off my son. I never thought I'd do that.

My mum did it to me. My dad used to wake up a half four and then come up at half five and go, why are you still in bed?
