Hello, well, sometimes, news episode in, well, sometimes the breaking news version of this breaking news version of this show is think in uh well sometimes the breaking news version of

this show is just the chance to catch up on what has been a mad mad week i know that you will get

your news from other sources i'm not telling you the news but maybe this podcast is useful just

getting together and go what the fuck just happened what just happened on that note it's also been a busy week for me. I've had loads of tour shows. I finished my tour show in Hexham on Sunday night and I stayed up north and then I had to travel back down Monday. So it's thrown it all out. So isn't just Kirstarmer that's had a mental week. But of course, we'll be picking up from where we left off on Monday with Tom Walker, Jonathan Pye. Still a very good episode to listen to that because, you know, we sort of analysed how Stama had got to the point where he did seem to be teetering, but we'll look at what happened from there where he sort of pieced it all back together and what everybody thought of it really. And also, listen, I am conscious of just only talking about the travails of Keistarnel,

that has been quite, you know, it's been the biggest story in town,

but we're also going to talk about Nigel Farage saying that working from home should be banned.

And in all cases, I haven't done this for a while,

but the point of the podcast is what most people think.

Trying to get to a viewpoint and things that might represent something of the common ground or the centre ground.

I don't know.

But on that note, I had a few complaints about the Tom Walker episode.

So we start with thoughts on Bad Bunny.

So in the patron only section, i deliver my thoughts on bad bunny

doing the super bowl half time show only in spanish and it's fair to say i was not as fully

researched on that as a man might be uh some people picked up on that some people went as far as

saying that i sounded like i was from turning point uk so i guess i'm saying saying I sound like a bit like a Charlie Kirk type character. I just thought it was kind of weird that, you know, if like it's the American kind of FA Cup final, or it's bigger than that, to have the whole thing in a different language felt kind of unusual. But even in the conversation, we spoke about the fact that, you know, like it was the, the you know all of his songs are in spanish maybe as a marketing thing you know because obviously he's massive in spanish speaking countries he's massive in china so it's kind of like a commercial decision at the end and i still i don't you know it's like moving the f a cup final to fucking i don, 28 minutes past seven, like on a Sunday morning or whatever it is.

That kind of thing, you know, I like tradition.

So I kind of stay with my point.

And if that makes me sound a bit too right wing,

I mean, I'm so in this weird space where some people still think I'm really right wing.

Some people think I've gone woke.
