What must impulse. Hello, it just be done. it just had to be done. Local election fever

is in the air. I went to the shops and there was a low murmur of discussion about the world

by-election in Runcorn, some surprising outcomes in Cumbria. Look, I'm going to presume that if you

listen to this podcast and if you listen to Breaking News ones, you do care about these things. But it was a genuinely interesting night. I think the big news, I mean, obviously, Tories had a shocker, Labour. I mean, I'm recording, I should probably timestamp this. I'm recording this at half 10 on the Friday. So that's actually quite early in the day. But I do think we kind of know which way the wind's blowing. And the win is blowing the Tories out of orbit.

It's blowing sort of farts into Labor's face.

And it's blowing a nice breeze over the Reform Party who seem to be making gains.

And the Lib Dems and the Lib Dems.

But, you know, we don't discuss the Lib Dems.

That's the rule.

That's the rule. The one thing that

came up with reform is people still don't seem to know what colour their emblem is, because

you know you want to say a blue wall, a red wall. What is the reform thing, a turquoise wall?

I thought it was purple, or was that UKIP? Turquoise just sounds way too delicate, given, you know, reforms kind of macho brand of populism. We're a turquoise party. We always have been. Turquoise is a brilliant colour. So, Move, I don't know, I don't know, but let me know what most people think UK at gmail.com. But we're going to discuss both that by-election and the local election results.
