congratulations to Coach Whittingham on being named the 22nd head coach at the University of

Michigan. It is a huge job. He deserves this as a former

player. He now has my full support because I want the program that I shed blood, sweat, and tears

for to be great in every way that a program should and could be great on the field and even more

importantly to me, off the field, especially right now for Michigan. And also congratulations to Michigan.

You just hired a Hall of Fame head coach.

That's no easy feat to do.

And that is obviously an improvement from where the program is coming from with Sharon Moore,

who was a first time head coach after Jim Harbaugh.

So congrats on both sides of that.
