McCarthy came out and said today's going to blow your mind.

It's going to be a lot of big news to be made.

All right, Kerry, this morning you could see that Kevin McCarthy had some hope.

I think in his eyes, he walked through.

It was a lot different demeanor than yesterday.

He said that today was going to be shocking for many.

And then that vote happened and a lot of the people that were in that group of 20,

they were holding out switched, walk us through this.

That's right.

So we have now about 15 holdouts who basically came on over to McCarthy side.

These included chip Roy, for example, who led these former holdouts.

He was the lead negotiator, who along with Byron Donalds.

He was also co-negotiating with chip Roy talking to the pro McCarthy faction.

Basically, kind of representing this group, telling them what they were looking for
