UEFA have released the statement to say that Manchester City will be banned from

European competition for the next two seasons and find 30 million euros I've got

Christian Walsh with me to react to what we've

we've just heard. Obviously it's massive implications for Manchester City first

and foremost but they're great rivals of Liverpool and it will have implications

for the club as well. Oh, absolutely huge.

I mean, this is a Manchester City story, of course,

but this is a much wider story, Paul.

It's something that's going to have a real ripple effect

around Europe and one of the closest clubs to Manchester City is Liverpool and I think

you know Liverpool are going to feel the tremors of this I think it's going to be obviously positive

for Liverpool because it puts undoubtedly their biggest rivals in terms of

Premier League superiority.

It throws so many questions towards them, towards the future,

both sorts of short term and maybe even medium term.

Obviously we know that Manchester City will appeal it.

They'll go to the course of arbitration of sports so we can't say for sit at the moment

that they will definitely be banned for two years but if it does

up it is upheld and if it continues like this it's huge for for Man City but it's huge

for Liverpool it's huge for the Premier League and it's really big for the
