Malcolm Simmons reports coming out on three was the first that I saw Hayes Fawcett

all over it.

Malcolm Simmons expected it to end the transfer portal when it opens on January

2nd next month.

Obviously, this is a guy that was on all of our list that we talked about as a guy who

could enter the portal.

But then when you heard early reports of, okay, Horatio Fields planning to enter the

portal, Perry Thompson planning to enter the portal, but okay, all right, I dug a little

deeper on those two guys and it was like, well, it sounded like there was a pretty clear agreement that they didn't fit the scheme and both of those guys decided to go elsewhere.

That makes sense.

And then I'm told, okay, well, the Alex Golish offense wants these speedsters, these guys that can take the top off of the defense.

And I got a little bit of pushback. Like, oh, you're saying like you're saying Perry Topps is not fast. And I'm like, oh, he's not fast compared to these guys. He can move, but he's not fast compared to Malcolm Simmons and Eric Singleton and Camp Coleman. And so you think, okay, Well, maybe, all right, you let those two guys walk.

I mean, Hor her ratio is probably

really good value but perry like i think we were probably overpaying him for what his production

was which is fine i think he was worth it i stand by that the them letting malcolm leave it.

I don't love it.
