haven't talked about this a lot so let me tell you what's going on with my case

because you deserve to know number one and because what's happening to me is

happening to all of us I will explain in just moments for months now four months

since they charged me for doing my job for being inside a church

with a camera where the news was happening, where any journalists worth their press pass

would have been, and I have been very patient about this. I have been measured. I have let my

lawyers do their work. I said, I'm not going to do this in the press. But today something happened that I just cannot stay quiet about. And I thought that you should hear it. And honestly, I thought you, I should have been louder, sooner. Because this is not just my story. It never was. It is so many people's stories. It's your story as well. So people stop me on the

street all the time. And they say, Don, I'm so glad that you are free. And it's good to see you. I said,

well, it's good to be seen and I'm happy. I'm free too. And then they say, I'm so glad that this is over.

I just smile and I say, thank you, but I need you to understand something.

It is not over, not even close.

They, meaning the government, the Department of Justice and such, they are filing extensions.

They are filing senseless motions.

They are dragging this out just because they can, because the punishment is the process.

I said that the day that I was arrested and other people caught in this administration's machinery of cruelty, they have adopted it too because it is true.

The punishment is a process.

You don't have to beat somebody in court if you can just grind them down, drain their bank account, consume their life, make an example of them for everyone else watching. That is exactly what this is. And I have been quiet about it for four months, no more.

You deserve transparency.

You deserve to know what your government, your public servants are doing in your name with your tax dollars.

And I believe I deserve better, and more importantly, so do you.

So let me lay this out for you, okay? Before they even got to the indictment, the prosecutors went to a judge and tried to get an arrest warrant against me.
