The Rams have the reigning MVP under Center who decided to run it back for

at least one more season with Matt Stafford already in that QB room where you surprised both that the

Rams went with a QB and also went with one at 13 versus say trading back for a quarterback.

So in Locked on Rams the last couple of weeks, this has been my big fear.

And I said at the time that if this did happen, that I was going to crash out and I was

going to do that thing where I defend the ramp and I say you got to trust in Lessee and

trust in Sean McVeigh.

So I promised that I'm not going to back down and I'm not going to back down.

I was surprised to answer

your question just because as we talked about before the show, this is a Rams team that still

had some pieces that they needed to fill. And it could have been wide receiver three. Mackay

Lemon was my pick there. I mean, Devante Adams is still really, really good. He's not Packers

all pro. Devante Adams also is going to be most likely be gone after the upcoming season. And he missed significant time last year with a hamstring injury. So it, but Kyla made sense for the present and the future. Also, you could have gone Ruben Bain. I mean, the Rams are in a position where they're going to either pay Byron Young or move on from him. And Bain and McVasie, you can never have enough edge rushers. And I think what kind of makes me sick to my stomach is last time I checked, it's all about winning the Super Bowl. And the Rams have a lot of history, a lot of tradition. They have two Super Bowls, though. And if you don't win the Super Bowl, none of this matters.

And the truth is the Rams have been on the doorstep of hoisting that Lombardi

trophy for the last couple of seasons.
