He has been found guilty in the murder of Austin Metcalf. I'll reach you the headline out of Fox News.

This is breaking news. A jury has found Texas teenager Carmelo Anthony guilty of murder in the stabbing death of Austin Metcalf at a high school track meet last year.

A murder conviction carries a maximum sentence of five to 99 years or life in prison.

The verdict came just three hours after deliberations began, and Anthony now faces up to 99 years or life in prison.

This is exactly what I expected out of this case and out of this trial, very quick deliberation and a guilty verdict.

And it seems pretty clear cut.

When Austin Metcalf comes and confronts Carmelelo Anthony and asks him to leave the tent at the

track meet, you know what Carmelo Anthony should have done? He should have left. Instead, he

provoked further altercations and he ended up stabbing Austin Metcalf straight in the chest.

Now, there were arguments made for self-defense in this trial, and clearly those arguments

did not land with the jury.

He has been found guilty, and we'll see what his sentencing is soon.
