My guest today is Conservative Republican Joe Walsh, a former congressman who once ran for president and then blew up his life when he spoke out against the Maga cult and gave Trump the

bird. I can respect that. And whether or not the January 6 hearings becomes a turning point for people

who believe the big lie and that the insurrection was a peaceful protest, it's time that people

grasp reality. America is in trouble, folks. Walsh and I differ on many of the issues, but we both agree on that. The GOP is no longer conservative, and to quote Joe, Republicans have become fully radicalized in anti-democracy. Both Joe and I use our platforms to educate anyone who will listen. Joe's

podcast, White Flag, strives to find a path to unite, not divide us politically, but he pulls

no punches in his book, fuck silence, calling Trump out for the cultish, moronic, authoritarian con man he is. Nice title. Joe and I feel

driven to warn the country that the dark elements of the Maga cult look and smell a whole

like fascism. I say that in all seriousness. I'm not a doom and gloom type guy and you'll find that

neither is Joe. But we both get who Trump is and what Trumpism is all about.

And it's not small government or the rule of law. No, it's about getting what you want, when you want, and by any means necessary.

In other words, Trump wants to be a strong man like Putin and Victor Orban

and his buddy little rocket man, Kim Jong-un. And he's not alone. Other GOP frontrunners for the

Republican nomination in 2024, like Ron DeSantis and the ever-s jerk off Ted Cruz are spouting straight up with

authoritarian rhetoric all the time and lying like it's sport because to them it is and their fucking

base loves it's what they want whether they know it or not so Joe and I are going to spend the next hour debating our
