And Matthew, thanks for coming and sharing your insights today and what's going on in France. Because, I mean, I saw a heat map of what's going on in that country. And there are fires all over the place, especially in Paris. They're using like a George Floyd type of situation of an Algerian youth who was,

a cop was pointing a gun in his face, and he decided to step on the gas pedal,

and he got shot, and everyone's going crazy over there.

I wanted to get your insights on the parallels between this and past incidents of this type of terror in France.

Yes, absolutely. Let's do that.

And let's do this with the context of the American Revolution in mind.

July 4th is a big day.

Obviously, it's very important.

And for many people,

even in the United States, they don't fully grasp the importance of this, this very, very gigantic singularity in universal history as being something more than simply American.

And what we can learn, especially by some of the remarks I'm going to go through today,

regarding why it failed in France in 1789 to 94, when there was a potential for a replication

of the successful victory of the American founding fathers in the European continent back in the

old world, that failed for very specific reasons because people

didn't realize the sophistication and intrigue of British intelligence operations that turned

that potential goodness to create a world of mutual sovereign republics as replacement for the old

oligarchical hereditary systems of control of a master class, that was supposed to finally

be purged from humanity as we emerged onto the scene as a much more mature species, both for

the, and America was the beachhead for that as a success. If it worked in France, it was obviously

going to work elsewhere, too. There were leading collaborators in Ireland, in Poland, in Russia, even in India, and in Morocco,

in the 1770, 1780s, who were prepared to carry on this fight.

But it had to work in France first.
