Hey everyone, I'm Ashley Banfield and this is Drop Dead Serious and it has been another day

and it has been a big day culminating in a very big night.

I am actually recording this at midnight just at the end of February 6th Friday night

because this day was so jam-packed with developments and activities and like just, I don't know,

we just felt what were being yanked back and forth in the missing disappearance of Nancy Guthrie.

Everything from a new ransom message, not

ransom note, just a message to the president weighing in saying, we may be there.

I've got so much to update you on, but just within the last hour, and again, I'm recording

this at midnight, We've got activity at

Annie Guthrie's house, federal agents at Annie Guthrie's house. We have activity also four miles

down the road at Nancy Guthrie's house. I don't know why all of this is happening in the cover of

darkness. Again, it's two hours

prior to midnight, it's 10 o'clock at night there where this is happening. But the day has been

chock full of bizarre activity as well, agents showing up and shutting down an entire street,

moving all the reporters down the street, and then fastening a ladder

up on the side of Nancy Guthrie's house, clamoring up onto the roof, and chiseling away at,

what do you know, more cameras. I'm going to tell you everything that happened today,

including an incredibly astute analysis

from a former hostage negotiator who has something, probably the smartest analysis that I think

I've heard throughout this entire awful ordeal about these ransom letters. I think he really

puts into perspective what they could be all about.
