It's bracket day. It's Oscars Day. It's the players. You need something else. And that is Hamer Roseman swooping in doing the thing at Tideon that we expected him to do. And that is bringing back Dallas Goddard on a one-year deal. E.J., how do you feel about it?

Yeah, I think this is something that we expected to happen. You know, the Eagles kept pushing the void date back on Dallas Goddard's contract, which to me signaled that they wanted this to be the outcome and that Dallas Goddard wanted this to be the outcome. So I think it was a matter of figuring out what the number was going to be and what some of the other moves around the roster were going to be.

But yeah, I think that this is a favorable outcome for both sides and one that I think both sides are pushing for. You know, we mentioned on the show, Dallas Goddard wanted to be back, you know, and I don't know what his market, you know, how much his market materialized outside of the Eagles, but I also think the Eagles saw the value in bringing him back.

So I deal that makes a lot of sense.

And so now the makeup of the Eagles tight end room is Dallas got her at the top.

Johnny Munt as you're blocking tight end.

Grant Calcutera as a receiving option.

E.J. Jenkins is still around, and you enter the draft.

Go ahead. Yeah, i thought you i thought you wanted him to

be a fullback i mean cam latu can do it all and he's looking right over my shoulder you got to

oh well if he's looking over your shoulder then he can really do everything uh yeah camlatu is

technically on the roster as a tight end,

but he is basically a fullback.

Anyway, the Eagles can enter the draft,

let the draft come to them,

but let's also remember they're in the exact same situation

they were last year where they are entering the season

with not a single tight end signed beyond this season. And so tight end remains a long-term need for this team,

but they have done a good job to band-aid it. And in Dallas Goddert, you bring back a guy who has

sneakily become like a franchise tent pole. And in fact, he will be entering his ninth season with the Eagles, E.J. That is tied. And he will surpass in terms of total seasons, Zach Ertz. Now, Earth's played more games because Goddard has the injury history. But Zachertz was traded in the middle of his ninth season with the Eagles. This is now Goddard night's season. Yeah, and it's a significant one because

he wanted to be here. You know, I think when we hear from him, he will talk about, you know,
